Marching With a Message

The historic Women's March after President Trump's inauguration gives a message of hope and perseverance.

“I have spent the last year, eight months, and seven days avoiding thinking of what her last moments on this earth were like and what must have gone through her mind as she gasped and choked and pushed through the smoke.”

The trial of a tragedy known around the world, the Ghostship warehouse fire that killed 36 people in Oakland, including some from the LGBTQ community, took a shocking turn when a judge denied the plea deal of the defendants after hearing the testimonies of the victims friends and families. I was in the courtroom to hear the victim testimony and share their stories.
